I broke up with my boyfriend approximately 2 months ago but it was something that wasn't suppose to happen but it was better left broken. I broke up with him because he was treating me really badly but it was because he was having a lot of problems and we broke up over a stupid fight. After 2 weeks of silence I realised that I still loved him ever so much so I asked him back but he told me that he can't get back together with me because of my religion. I'm muslim and he's christian and if we get married one day, he'll have to convert and he will loose everything and he's not willing to do that. So fair enough I moved on and I I was getting close with his good friend(Daniel). We've been talking every day since the day my ex broke up. There was an event and he asked me to go out with him that day so I did but I didn't know my ex was going to be there. I had such a good time even if my ex was there. At first, yes I was feeling down because that was the first time I saw my ex but when I was with daniel, I completely forgot about it. This was last weekend and I haven't seen Daniel since then. When I'm alone, I cry about my ex but when I'm with Daniel I forget all about him. I like him but I'm still in love with my ex! Is this wrong? Because I know that my ex and I will not get back together no matter what. Does this mean that I should still see Daniel? Or should I tell Daniel that I'm still in love with my ex? Is Daniel just a rebound or do I have feelings for him? Im so confused :S please help!

Whatever feelings you have are yours to deal with, but jumping from fellow to fellow will only bring more feelings to deal with, when you haven't dealt with the old ones yet.

Yes be honest with the new guy, and give yourself a chance to heal completely from the last relationship before embarking on another one.

You need time to cope, and heal from your loss. Things will be a lot less confusing that way.
