Hi I am from uk england. This is a price difference question

I have just paid a deposit on a secondhand car from a garage, price in screen on forecourt was £1995 , upon returning home I looked on the company website. The vehicle is advertised on there at £1495, can I get the car for the website advertised price?
Even though I have paid a deposit

As I know that when the price at a till point being more expensive I can have it at the advertised price,, is this the same thing?

Plaese state your knowledge on this in your answer thank you :)

Have you signed a sales contract as yet ?
If not, all good, otherwise you are in for a bit of a fight.

Get a print out of the site's advert and be prepared to walk away if they won't honour the web price. If needs be inform them you will be reporting this to Trading Standards for their own investigation.

I had similar recently and eventually got the lower price and well as a honking discount.
In the current environment the buyer is king, especially if they already have funding in place.

Thanks for that info :) I've not signed except a deposit recipt, which he put lower price on it because he did wrong calculations. But he called to say it was wrong price.
Will be calling consumer direct in morn so hopefully have my way.
Thaks 4 your time :)

See if they will honour the lower advertised price first and, if not, then take it up with Consumer Direct.
If they will then all good ;)
