I'm in 8th grade and no matter what it seems there always something new that's going on why can't it calm down for just a second?

That's pretty much life. When you're a kid it seems like you have no concerns or responsibilities (and you really don't), but now you're becoming more accountable for yourself and seeing how much more complex everything is.
Things won't necessarily slow down, you just need to find ways to calm yourself and learn how to cope with stress.

Really, 8th grade is easy compared to real life, and that's what your teachers are trying to prepare you for.
When you're grown up, have a house, bills to pay, a job, kids, well, everything changes on a minute to minute basis.
This is good preparation for life, you'll get through it, we all did.
Good luck.

Middle school was my best years and yeah it's like the time of change. You kind of just have to go with whatever hits you because in Middle school you don't quite have a say yet in your day to day life there. Once you get the high school things will make sense and you'll know what to do. Life goes on.. =)
