Hey, I have just added a second hard drive to my desktop. My primary drive is running xp the new drive has linux on it. But xp is not showing the drive. I want to use this drive to put music, pics, videos and stuff like that. Do I have to put xp on this drive? It is a 20gb, when I go to computer management I can see the drive as disk 1 and my primary as disk 0. but my computer does not show it. Any help?

What format is the linux drive? Ntfs, fat or other type just for linux?

I think the format is ntfs. When I boot up the computer goes straight to the windows hard drive it does not ask from what drive to boot from.

Have you been able to use linux since installed?

Does the drive just have linux on it from another computer or did you install it

How is the drive connected inside the computer, what cable di you connect it to
