I have a ceiling fan and purchased a light it has a black and white wire I connected it to the mathcing wireson fan fan runs but light doesn't please help:confused::confused:

The white do all connect to the whites but your light kit black connects to the fans blue wire.

Were there any other wires coming from the fan, such as a blue wire?
