I'm Jamaican. I had a b1 visa for the US.However I visited the US and stayed for 5 months, during this time I worked.I didn't overstay the 6mths though.Anyway, I tried to go back to the US two months after and they refused me entry because they said they have evidence I worked, so I was given a choice of Voluntary withdrawal or a ban, so I chose the withdrawal, as a result my tourist visa got cancelled.But I have no ban.I previously had a J1 visa that I used, but everything's OK with that, no problem there. So now, I want to apply for a work permit and I'm just wondering what are my chances of getting it? Seeing that my b1 visa got cancelled.

You may try but the chance is pretty slim..
