I am currently 8 days late on my period and I have already took one home pregnancy test and it said negative but I feel really strange I have been getting sick right before I go to bed and my side has been hurting and I have never had these feelings before. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what it might be and I will add I have been trying to get pregnant for 6 years and nothing and now this. Someone please help!!

Are your periods pretty regular? Definitely take another test. I have learned through my experiences that the mind has a lot of power over the body. Thinking you are pregnant can lead to symptoms. This has happened to me numerous times, then I took a test and with the negative answer, my period follows the next day. But your issue is different. You have had a negative test and not started, so take another one right when you wake up.

You may need to give it a bit more time... if your period is usually regular, maybe it is just late this cycle. See what happens in another week... if still no period, try another test. Sometimes it can take a few weeks before a test will pick up a pregnancy.

Same thing happened to me not once but twice. Give it another week and take another test.
