We noticed that our grass near the corner of the house was soaked. Dug up the ground and found water leaking out of the water pipe where it meets the concrete foundation. Plumber said there is a pipe leak in the foundation and a new pipe will have to be ran probably to the center of the house in an interior wall near an outside wall where the water is distributed to the rest of the house. This is a two story house. There is no water leaking anywhere inside the house. Any guesses how little or how much this could cost? Thanks for making this forum available.

It's difficult to estimate material and labor on your job without a wholesalers price list and the labor conditions, (union or nonunion) in your area so we don't attempt to do so.
Having said that, get three estimates and go with the one you're most comfortable with. Good luck, Tom

This type of repairs is not heavy on cost of materials but on labor. Good planning and experienced plumber will minimize cutting ( meaning additional cost to you) and will finish fast. However it is hard to estimate this type of work over the net...

I would get few estimates and go with the middle one...
