I was granted a 30 minute hearing to reconsider adding back child support to our current proposed order. Do I need to do anything to prepare for this?

Hello confused:

Seems to me that you have to create an effective argument in support of your claim. I wouldn't continue the same argument that didn't work the first time around. I doubt that it'll convince a judge a second time.

There was no argument before. It wasn't brought up in trial. I told them this in myletter, which is why I was surprised I was granted a hearing. I was told that back child support is usually addressed from the date of initial filing. Why the judge didn't do it in the hearing, I don't know.
