Hello ,

I completed my bachelors degree in India. Now am in USA as I got married . I want to pursue further M.S. programme here ( America ) but have H4 as dependent on my husband . What are the options?, as I am interested in economics or MBA related programmes.

You can go to school with H-4 or file for F-1.

The best choice is to obtain student visa (F-1) as you will be able to work under OPT for a year after graduation, and after that you can change your status to H-4 as long as you are atill married to the H-1 holder.

Dependent means spouse or son/daughter, NOT cousin.
