Hey

I have a huge project due tomorrow so I need help ASAP!!
The questions is- give points P(2, -2), Q(14, 1) and R(6, -6) determine the length of the altitude.

I altitude is from point P and I don't get how to find it
HELP ME PLEASE ASAP!!!

Thanks M

Dude!! Take a graph paper and plot the given points and you will get a triangle PQR! Your question is not that much clear but if you want to find the altitude then it is the perpendicular distance of one side of the triangle to the vertex opposite to it!! You will get three altitudes(in my point of view)!

I too am unsure what you mean by an altitude in this situation.

Can you clarify?

Me too... If it was like an angle of elevation or depression while considering the x axis as ground level, then it would ease matters.
