I had a Concord oil furnace installed this spring and the AC worked great. Now the heat does not kick on.I noticed that the wiring is not complete from the box next to the beckett burner.Unfortunately the person that installed it is no longer in the area. There are 4 wires coming out of the box near the burner. They are a red one which is wired up to the fan/limit switch,a white one which goes to the main white power coming into the furnace and then there are 2 black wire coming out that go up into the main bow where the power comes into the furnace but neither black wire is hooked up.should these 2 blaack wires go to the main black wire coming into the furnace.. Thanks very much for your rreplies

The reason they might not be hooked up is the fact that the wiring does not meet the wiring color code. There should be a minimum of 4 wires from the thermostat. White,Red,Green,Yellow. I feel something is missing (relay or a correct oil burner safety compatible with both heat and cool. I suggest you contact a local HVAC company and have them correct the situation.

It is always a shame when people buy items from a fly by night company or a company that does not complete there work before they leave town.
