What happens when you try to uninstall,

How are you trying to uninstall

What happens when trying to system restore

I tried to uninstall the program by going to the control panel>add remove programs. It says there is a file missing and am unable to uninstall. When I tried using system restore, I tried restoring it said that it was unable to restore to that date, try another. I tried several others but kept getting the same message.

First thing is get rid of tuneup

With the installation, there apparently was 1 file not copied properly

What you could do at this point if you want to uninstall it is to make sure that no processes are running in task mgr for tuneup

Right click on taskbar and click task mgr related to tuneup

Then delete the folder you installed to, may not be able to delete all files, let it delete what it can

Download and run ccleaner and let it fix what it finds

ccleaner (Freeware)
Download CCleaner 2.12.660 - FileHippo.com (http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/)
On the right hand side, click download latest version

Restart windows

Now try to delete remaining files in installed folder

Post back with what's left and any messages that may come up
