Hello,
Please someone can give me some information about this:
1. going to foreclosure my house in usa
2. not a citizen or resident in us
The point once it's foreclosure:
1. can I still enter to usa with a visitor visa
2. can the bank or whoever can put me in jail if enter us
3. in the future if my sister applying for me as resident, is it possible
Why I'm asking this cause I had talked to the bank and they told me those things above
1 thing for sure I know is, I can't purchases any houses in usa.
Hopefully anyone can give me some info about this situation.
Thank you so much

No you can not go to prison or jail for owing money. That is civil.

After the foreclosure you will owe the balance of the money

And of course you can purchase another house in the USA, may have to wait a few more years but many people loose one home and get another in just a few months.

You just owe money, collection people are just lying to you

Thank you fr_chuck,
I know I'll owe a balance so if in the future I want to buy a house they still can make me pay for the balance right.
So nothing will happen if I'm leaving and enter to us again.
Cause the bank loan officer did tell me that I can not enter any more unless I pay the out standing balance.
Anyway thank you so much

They are just talking bull, heck collection people ( nor normally bank officers) but collection people will lie first about who they are, they will claim to be attorneys, police and more, they will tell you police are on the way, that the tow truck is about to hook up to your car and more.

Home foreclosure is a civil matter, nothing to do with your legal status BUT if you seek immigration status in the future, this will come up.

Clean up the mess as soon as you can. Don't let the unpaid sum or taxes come up later. USCIS may use this issue to deny your case even for any non-immigration visa.
