My board reads C Y GC GH R W
I have two wires with a Red and White
I have one from the thermostat Red, White, Green, and Blue
The AC doesn't work nor does the Heater. I think the wiring are wrong. I'm trying to save some money. Can somebody tell me how the wires are supposed to go?

Thermostat... red to r, white to w, green to g, and blue to y.
Furnace... wires from thermostat, red to r, white to w, green to g, blue to y,
Furnace... wires from outside condenser unit, red to y(with blue from thermostat), white to c.
Hope this helps , please let me know.
Also, put a jumper between gh and gc on the board

That works for the AC but what do I do with the space R and W. I think it belongs to the heater portion. The AC works now and can be controlle at the thermostat, thank you very much.

Yes, R and W are for controlling heat. The red wire from the thermostat should hook to the R at the furnace, and the white wire from the furnace should hook to the W on the furnace, these should be the only wires connected to R and W on the furnace board. If It is hooked up exactly as I described above, then the furnace and ac should work( on appropriate settings.
You say your ac works fine now? Ok, If you would like help trouble shooting the furnace, let me know and ill see what I can do. Would help to have the model of carrier, and the make and model of thermostat. Hope this helps, and please let me know how things go.
