Hi, glenmrclassa!
Lots of jobs are available to a person who has been convicted of a felony, but not just because they have been convicted of a felony.
Whether that person gets a job or not will greatly depend on their determination to get a job and how hard they try. Depending on the felony conviction, it's possible that some jobs would be more difficult for the person to be hired for a particular position, though.
Looking upon oneself as being an ex-felon rather than a felon, would probably be a good mindset to be in rather than to think that a person convicted of a felony is going to forever be remembered for the worst thing that they ever did.
Once a person has done their time and paid their dues to society, then they are free to seek out employment just like everyone else.
If you are asking for yourself or someone else, it would be helpful to know what the felony conviction was for as well as the education, training and employment history that the person convicted of a felony has in order to answer your question the best here.
Thanks!
