Can anyone tell me where I can buy a shift shaft seal for a 94 ford ranger? I can't seem to find anyone who sells them.

I looked one place and came up with zip, but you didn't give enough info. Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto (http://www.rockauto.com).

Here has English stuff: Browse the MSC Big Book (http://www1.mscdirect.com/CGI/NNPDFF?PMPAGE=3775&PARTPG=GSDRVSM&PMT4NO=51820429&PMITEM=36677292&PMCTLG=00&PMT4TP=*LTIP)

That's Industrial Supply Equipment from MSC Industrial Supply (http://www.mscdirect.com) for the main page.

If your willing to figure out the dimensions or can read the number off the part and you do a lot of leg "computer" work, you can find the replacement part.

You may have to buy a $29.00 micrometer or take the seal out to find the model number and manufacturer. Then use man page cross ref numbers.

I did that for a bearing in a microwave oven. I also upgraded the design in the process. Replaced it with a ceramic bearing.
