I have read all questions/answers on cleaning laminate flooring. But still not a good answer for my problem. Floors in great condition but when damp mop, a "film" remains. Floor looks good until you walk on it! Leaves footprints, cat paw prints, anything shows! I need to get rid of the film and regain the satin luster.:
I have used laminate floor cleaner - that started the film - tried Mr Clean and bleach
( a VERY small amount to sink full of water) to remove film with no luck. Help!
Thanks a million !

Hi, calliewallie!

What brand and type of laminate flooring do you have, please?

Thanks!

I'm looking for help in interior decorating. I just moved into a new condo and have 12-15" soffit on both sides of kitchen above my cupboards. I like country - any ideas on what to put above those cupboards in that soffit area. Thanks Nancy

Your flooring manufacturer should have recommendations, per Clough's question to you. If not try distilled white vinegar, mix 1/2 cup for every gallon of warm water. Use a damp, (not soaking wet) mop to clean the floor with that solution.
