I am 39 years old and my husband and I are trying to conceive our 3rd child which will be our last. I was on the pill for 8 years and stopped taking them 5 months ago. My LMP started with spotting on 8th & 9th of Sept and went full blown on the 10th to the 14th. I ovulated on the 19th through the 24th which would have been my highest peak. My husband let go inside on the 22nd. I have been having headaches, backpains, mood swings sometimes constant urine and slight cramping in my lower abdomen for the past 8 days. I have taken a pregnancy test and it was negative. On October 11th after intercourse that morning I started light spotting all day now today it seems like a period. I have mild cramps in my lower abdomen. I normally have a 28 day cycle and was regular while on the pill with my menstrual around the 17th of the month. It changed in Sept and Now October. I am not really sure what is going on this has never happened before. I feel as if my clothes are getting tighter but am unsure of if I am pregnant or not. I have read about implantation bleeding and thought that was what I was experiencing but now I am see my menstrual I believe. The color is darker than usual but it seems like it is getting heavier and I know that implantation bleed is light. I did not experience this with my other two children of which I had in my earlier 20s and 30s.. Please help me figure this out.

It sounds like AF has come! Since you were stressed and anticipating AF, it may have just came a little late, which is normal. Remember it can take up to 12 months of trying for a healthy couple to conceive. Take another HPT for your peace of mind if you neeed to. Good Luck!
