I got these really large and old paintings from my grand parents. The first one my grandfather gave me and said he got it in the Philippines. It's a 3D sort of painting where it is painted on wood (oil paint I believe) and there is pieces of wood nailed onto it then painted over. BUT, it's the signature that is bothering me, I can't figure it out, maybe you guys can.

Next up, my grandmother's painting she gave me. Its simply signed Jackson. I did a bunch of searches but couldn't find any that had the same signature as this one.

Any help is greatly appreciated. :D

There are two Jackson-signed paintings on auction on eBay as I write. One ends in aobut 22 hrs, the other ends on the 15th. I think it's the same artist.

As for the other painting, I have no clue.

Do you have the links? I'm not interested in selling them, just curious at the cost and if I should get them protected.

Painters usually sign their work. Can you read any signature (the right top painting)? Any? Normally while selling the painting, the vendor tell little story about it and the artist.

The first picture is the signature that is on the first painting. My grandfather didn't tell me any story if the vendor had told him anything. He just told me he had bought it in the Philippines while he was touring in the military. I can't figure out the lettering for the signature. It looks like just a jumble of different letters together to me, some lines just there to be there.
