Never,

Why can't you go to church because you are using, fill my church with 100 users every Sunday, you are the ones that need to hear the sermon.

God's looking for repentance. An internal battle is happening, that pulls at your will. Let god win, by attempting to repent of what you believe he wants you to repent. Don't focus on the sin, focus on the spirit of god that shows you. We're all being torn apart, just that not everyone wants to change. I believe it's this work that a true christian is doing.

Fr Church is right.

I'm sorry he did that. If he knew that it's a personal battle, he would have kept to himself.
jesus said that anyone who sins is captive to that sin. He was right, in that it's very hard to get free from a sin that's gone on forever. But that's the part of repentance, that we know that we should please god, and attempt to change.
don't worry about a timeframe, or a circumstance to come to god. He's very long-suffering and forgiving.
we need his help, so we must go to him. Jesus also said that whom the son sets free, is free indeed.

Depends on what you mean when ask about "enough".

God doesn't give up on anyone who is interested in Him being their Lord and savior. He went to the extreme of letting His only Son die in your place so that won't have to hold your sins against you on the day of judgement.

On the other hand, if you desire to go on as a captive to sin in your life... He will let you live in the consequences of that way.
His hope is that you will g I've your life to Him and let Him empower you to change. It will still be you that does the changing but when you really surrender you life (lifestyle and will) to Him, He will give you the power to start making the changes that will make you free from the evident torture you feel now.

Excellent post as usual.
One thing I'd add is that asking God for help in changing one's life to serve Him, His people and one's self is a constructive effort for self and for God's help.

Is this what you mean?

Romans 1

24 Wherefore God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness, to dishonour their own bodies among themselves. 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

If it is, then the answer is "Yes."

Sincerely,

De Maria,
Another excellent post.
Yes, God will give up on SOME people.
But that does not mean that a person can change themselves and reconnect with God for He wants all people to be saved.

Here's a question dear mishelly3 !
All those people that needed any kind of healing or forgiveness that we read about in the New Testament , did they go to a church or a synagogue , or did they go straight to Jesus?I mean , first go to Jesus , and then go to church. If you go to church , that does not really mean that you are going to Jesus , but if you go to Jesus , surely you ARE His church.
The question that has to steal our sleep and never let us relax is not '' Do I go to church , but AM I CHURCH? ''
I am not saying in anyway that we do not need church , but the situation of the church worldwide , no matter what kind of church , is at least dissapointing.
On the other hand GOD IS... That's His wonderful Name!! I am that I am, that is His Name . GOD IS hope , GOD IS healing , GOD IS church , GOD IS everything that we need!! Ask yourself , what do you need and you will know that GOD IS what you need practically and not theoritically .
Jesus says to us '' I AM the way , I AM the truth , I AM the alpha and the omega ''. Do you need a way out ? HE IS your way out !
Don't focus on the church , focus on Jesus and you will have the way and the truth and the alpha and the omega AND THE CHURCH. First of all become a church with Him and He will make you a member of His Body ,a member of His Church!
Does God ever say enough? Did He say enough to the criminal that was crusified with Him , or did He wait for decades for him to repent and accept Him as his savior? How many chanses did the criminal give to Jesus so that He could say enough? How many did I give Him? Uncountable , I assure you , but the criminal is saved and I am still here , standing in His Name declaring that HE IS!!
STAND and trust HIM . Don't trust me , but trust Him , because HE IS trustfull .

adam7gur,
Jesus established His assembly (Church) for a purpose.
What do you suppose His reasons were and still are?
Why does the bible tell us so much about the activity on going to that assembly?
We are to get together for worship, support, guidance, information, spiritual help, prayer and healing.
One person alone is not a church (where 2 or more are gathered in His name)
The Aramaic word that became used as church translated as assembley).
Jesus established His Church with His apostles as the leaders. Why?
They were trained by Him for that purpose.
Jesus Christ's Church has leaders because He wanted it that way.
That's the way a Church still is; more than one person.
Peace and kindness,
Fred

Dear arcura!
As I already wrote , I am not saying that we do need church. I simply say that first of all we need Jesus. The church is something that He builds in ways that we have not completely understood.
The Temple of Solomon was built in a very unusual way. All the parts of it were made in different places , then gathered all together and matched without a single hammer's sound. That is the way that the Church is being build todayand it is not ready yet! There are assemplies all around the world but His Church is not ready yet.My eyes are filled with tears because of this fact and my prayers are about the restoration of His temple , His living and breathing Temple . But being in trouble like our friend mishelly3 is here , surely needs more than a pastor that couldn't stand and fulfill his job!
The church is something that we all dream about but it is not ready yet , on the other hand GOD IS always ready for mishelly3 and all of us!
Yes Jesus has established His church but honestly do you think that the church today is what our Lord has established ?If this is His church , OH MY GOD have mercy on us!!
And remember that going from an assembly to another does not make it right 'cause one assembly may be bettr than another in someways but it is surely worse in other ways.
Before the Temple was built there were three places in Israel that someone could go and offer a sacrifice to God and all those offerings were acceptable by God , but ALL of those three places were not the way that God wanted. They were all missing things although the sacrifices were accepted.
I will be glad to discuss more about it with you if you want to !

adam7gur ,
I am very happy with my Church.
I believe it is the right one, the bride of Christ, and guided by the Holy Spirit.
It is the only one with earthly authority established by Jesus and still functions in that way after 2000 years.
It is where I can see and hold Jesus personally and take part in His holy body and blood.
Yes Jesus is first and He established His Church so no matter where or when on this planet He will always be first in His Church.
Peace and kindness,
Fred (arcura)
