My eight month old baby has had six small bumps behind one ear for about a month. Three nights ago he had a fever and now I have noticed that one of the bumps now looks like a whitehead. The other bumps have no color and are just bumps (no whitehead). Please give me advice on what you believe this could be?? Thanks.

I believe you should take your baby to the pediatrician. Do not rely on strangers to diagnose an 8 month old infant.

We cannot visualize the "bumps" nor can we do tests or an exam. What you get here would only be guesses at best and could be dangerous to the health of your baby.

Please do not come on here for medical advice. If this was my child I would have called or went to the hospital immediately. It could be anything. It is always something you should not brush off. Call the doctor at least.
