Well To all the read my last posting my dog is doing GREAT! She is eating and drinking again. At first I had to hand feed it to her but I made a little recipe and she loves it, and she's getting the puppy food she need and the stuff the vet gave! Now I have another question!
She hasn't stopped sneezing! She's been doing it since pretty much the day we brought her home and it doesn't seem to bother her... But it bugs me, I don't quite like dog snot :D ! The vet at the place I adopted her from told me to give her baby robotusin (spelling?? ) I haven't yet tried it because I'm not sure its good for the dog, especially since she's on other meds for the sickness she just got over. I should have asked the other vets that I brought her to but in my defense I was distracted by the fact that my dog was really ill with something else!
If anyone knows maybe the reason she is sneezing and any suggestions it would be great!!
Thanks again!

The robitussin is a cough syrup. Sounds like an allergy to me. Try checking with your vet to see if children's Benadryl would work, that is for sneezing. I take the adult version every day through the spring and summer.

The sneezing could be allergies. My cat sneezes from time to time in fits so it's highly possible that that is what's happening with her. I know that dr's will give pregnant women robotusin but I don't know about dogs... sorry.

Robitussin for sneezing? Never heard of that, I only use it for coughs. Is there one for sneezing? If so, let me know I hate getting drowzy from the benadryl, the non-drowzy does not work for me.

I think that they have actually come out with one for allergies... not sure though. Call the local pharmacy... They can tell you better than I can... lol. Personally I like the tylonal cold and allergy.

Lol... I think we got a bit off the subject here... lol... Allergies don't care what species you are they affect us all... I guess that's where this went...

Thank you all for you response lol I suffer from allergies too but I cannot take much for them... I will ask the vet again today seeing that I am going there anyway to finish up some paper work for my insurance! But to help you all there are many other pills that are made especially for allergies that don't make you drowsy... I cannot remember the name of the one and I could guess but I don't want to give you the wrong name but when I am at the drug store today I will post back on here and tell you the one that really worked for a few years ago!!
Thanks for the advice!
