If you work for more than 5 hours, you HAVE to have a break. Tell a manager or your boss that you want a break during your shift, and ask if it would be paid or unpaid and how long it would last.

It would be wise to ask a boss or manager because sometimes their to busy to remember whether you have had a break or not. I remember my first job when I didn't ask my boss for a break and I did 10 hours straight. Don't be afraid to ask because everyone needs a break (and when you speak up, it shows that your confident to talk.. Even to your boss/manager) remember- don't be afraid to talk!
