TOM - you don't need a large air commpressor to do this job. I used to use a portable air tank to blow out the water lines with. It held 125 lbs air pressure. I used to take care of a lot of rental propertyand when I started for a new coustermer I would get them to let me install drain valves in the water lines, both hot and cold at where the lines came into the house , you need the lowest point you can find to do this , then when it got time for cold weather to set in I would winteruize the house if it was empty, Open the faucets and drain cock and blow the water out the lines. NOTE- if you are winterizing a house for the winter ,don't forget to pour anti freeze in the drains , ALL (tub sinks dish washer, clothes washer, and in toilet tanks and bowl. I hope this helps you out, Havw a great day and GOD BLESS :: F.B.E.
