My car- 1990 Honda Civic Dx - has been running kind of rough, and a couple of times it does this weird thing where it lurches then stops responding to the accelerator, but the engine stays running in idle? For a while then eventually stalls. The first time it did this it started up again in a few minutes and I drove it home, but the last time I had to have it towed. I had it to a shop both times and the first time they couldn't find anything, and the second time they said the rotor had broken loose inside the distributor cap, so they replaced it. After dirving from the shop a bit, it started driving really rough again like its missing or something espescially going up hills. Any ideas what going on?

Replace the Ignition Control Module and coil:

Do you know off-hand which plug on the distrubutor cap goes to which cylinder? Right now its 1342 starting with the top right and going clockwise, but one wire has a lot of slack in it and one is really tight.
