Hi I need help with my ice box.. There is a smell coming from my ice box and it is not from the inside. I have moved my ice box and cleaned behind and under it, but I still am smelling a really foul odor. This started right after Hurricane Ike hit and I was with out power for serveral days. I need to get to the drain pan I not find it and I don't know how to get to it and get it clean. Can someone please help...

Sissybell - The smell may be caused from a mouse or small animal tghat got under from the back of fridge, also it may be from the water that drained down to the pan under the fridge, The pan is not to hard to get toBut you will need somebody to help you pull the fridge out away from the wall so you can get back behind the fridge, On the bottom of the fridge on the back side there is a black piece of cardboard looking covering the bottom end pukk the electrical cord out of receptical out of plugin :: now its either a 1/4 " screw nut or a phillips screw driver ,that holds the back bottom piece ( COVER )on ,remove them and take it off easy so not to tear it up .remove it and towards the right vside ( from the Back of the fridge, there will be a fan with a motorthat blows on the water in the pan to make3 it disappear ( the water ) . The pan may have to come out from the front side, if so take the bottom kick plate off and pull it out ,clean it with some ( ODBAN AND GOOD OL BLEACH. Get a flash light and look around there real good to see if you have a critter caught and deadinthis area .;; gOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS .
