My wife and I had an argument and she is staying with her friend temporarily she put in a change of address she has had her green card for about 2 months and my question is since it is a temporary green card and cannot become permanent until we have been married for 2 years is her legally changing her address going to cause a problem?

It may or may not cause a problem depending on her final situation when she applies for removal of conditions. If you are still married, having different addresses will definitely jeopardize her case, but if she files on ground of abused victim, she would be fine.

Yes but she would have to prove that right? She was not abused and she would also have to prove that she entered this marriage in good faith

So if this marriage was all a sham she can get away with that? I have no recourse? Doesn't the government protect it own citizens anymore?

In case she claims abuse, she won't get away that easy without any concrete evidences. Rate of approval is less than 70%. So, if you want to file a divorce, you have the right to do it... don't seek revenge because if you do nasty things to her, it helps her case a great deal. My advice.. stay calm, bite your tongue... move on with your life.

I guess now she can claim abuse she was asked straight out in court if I had ever hit her or threatened to and she said no

Physical abuse is not the only type of marital abuse.
