OK.well my last normal period was Aug.26. 2008. Well I stopped my birthcontrol after my last normal period (Aug.26) I didn't keep up with it. Which I also heard that you can be more fertile when you get off birthcontrol. Well me and my partner had unprotected sex on and off for the next month. And we had sex the whole week I had to be ovulating. I was late on my period Sept 23, 2008. I took two HPT but both came up negative, so I was going to wait a little bit longer to take another one or make an appointment. But now four days later I'm bleeding a little but not a lot. Could this be the beginning of my period and I'm just late since I haven't been on my birthcontrol to keep it regular?or could I still be pregnant and just wait a few more days to see how the bleeding goes? Please help.. I need advice :confused:

Poor girl, been there! Well you sound like you got the jist of it really. You could just be late because of your pills or you could be pg. but in all reality, your just going to have to wait and see how the bleeding goes. If it becomes more period like, your probably not pg, but I would suggest for your own state of mind to wait at least 3 days and take a hpt no matter if your still mestrating because it'll still be in the back of your mind and you'll go crazy till your next period. Hope this helped even a little. Good luck!

Thank you mommyv! The bleeding is kind of the same its very light and jelly like. I hope it stop and goes away. I don't want a false alarm. I think I got my hopes up to soon and they ,might be disappointed. Well, okay thanks for the advice. Ill just see how everything plays out. Thank you.

I agree with Mommy but I'd wait another week before restesting. When you do test make sure to use first morning urine.

If you aren't pregnant than you might want to consider another form of birth control, something that is easier to remember.

Good luck, let us know how it goes.
