There have been 2 separate occurrences in my house that I think are connected. My husband and I were having an argument both times. The first was... a hanging lamp began to sway back and forth. Yesterday it was our TV volume that went up to a veryyyy loud volume. What do you think of these 2 situations. We've had a few other occurrences with our A/V equipment. Our spirit also leaves pennies around the house. (I've wrote about that on here too) Thanks for your time. P

This might seem like strange advice, but you might try communicating to it w/ tarot cards if you have any.

Do you have any Native American ancestry? Especially Pacific Northwest? There's a story cycle in that tradition about "Copper Woman" and maybe the penny thing is playing off that. The other sounds like a poltergeist, and that's an interesting little symbiotic phenomenon between a small spirit and your own innate psychic energy (that you are inadvertently releasing in times of stress). The pennies have a more fairie/leprechaun kind of feel. I agree with saprophilous. Try talking to it (using any communication tool you like), or leaving it something in exchange for the pennies (something shiny, maybe?).

Actually, maybe you just have too many negative ions in the air that can cause this. It is a fact that if you increase the negative amount of ions in the air you can actually increase spirit activity. Microwaves, stoves, fridges, freezers, t.v. dvd/vcr and stereo equipment tend to increase the negative ions in the air thus attracting the kind of issues your having. So, you need to balance it out a bit and get some positive ions in the home... the above mentioned will all along with other things... water is neutral and does absorb excess... so do a nice bowl with water and floating candles. Nice decorative touch and leaves the air a bit clear. Since it likes to play with your electronics maybe leave a recorder out and see if you can catch any voice phenomena... ask questions, playback and listen. Otherwise you just may have a interesting visitor in your home trying to get your attention and clearing would then be suggested. I like Alders idea of leaving something shinny out too.

To tell you the truth I like the energy in the house. I truly like the spirit here and don't want to do anything to cause it to leave. I, for some reason, think it is my fiancées dad or my dad that is trying to communicate with us. In that case... I think I will do nothing but enjoy what ever they decide to do to get our attention. I've also decided to try using our camcorder to see if any audio or video shows up on it. I could have sworn I saw orbs twice this week, two diff days. Plus our kitten watches the ceiling many times and our dog has shown strange actions lately. Hugs p

Good for you! At least 99% of the time, that's the best approach. So many of the people who write in here can't get over their fear of the unknown. You could ask it its name. Just make it clear you want to know its name or know more about it, and then just sit back. It might take a day or two, or a couple of weeks, to give you the answer, and it may come in an unexpected way. Or it may just pop into your head.

Hello! Since my last post I have talked to my siblings. Two out of three of them have heard their name called but no one around, which happens to me. But only at work. My sister says she's sure its my dads voice. My brother says only that it's a male voice. I cannot myself determine which it is. We had a strange thing happen last night. We were watching TV when a CD started up in our DVD player. The volume was prob as loud as it could go. So with surround sound you could imagine how loud it was. It shook us up pretty good. I take it as a action to get our attention not a bad thing. As you may know from another post I have wrote... we find pennies all the time in our house... we are very careful not to leave pennies anywhere since I believe our spirit is leaving them. I gues I don't have a question but I just need to vent this sort of occurrences to someone who believes in it. P

I was going through some old family pictures the other day that my mom handed down to me. They are just loose pics in a box, not in albumns. I was finished looking at them and put them back on the shelf. I don't remember a picture falling to the floor but a couple hrs later I found a picture of my gramma laying there on the floor. Could this be a way that gramma is telling me that she is here? Thanks p

Could be gramdma is alerting you to her presence. I have spirits who leave me pennies, quarters and dimes all the time. They also bring my son and me tools such as wrenches, nut drivers, screwdrivers, wirestrippers. My son has quite a collection of tools and this just adds to his collection. We have also had stuff disappear totally and then reappear days or weeks later in different rooms of our house. We know who is doing this at my house. Maybe now you know who is at your house.

Twinkie... I'm so glad you wrote. I have written several posts about pennies and dimes left in my house. I think I entitled it "spirit pennies" but not sure. As a matter of fact... Monday a reporter from the local paper here is coming to my house to do a story about the pennies left in my house. I was thinking it was my dad visiting in our house but now I'm leaning towards gramma making tvs and our dvr come on by themselves. Well whoever it is I love it and hopes it never stops. :) p
