I am a single mother of two small childern who resides in lansing Illinois. The childerns father is supposed to watch the kids at my house on Saturday and Sunday from noon until eight o' clock while I am at work. When I get home, he makes every excuse not to leave. I recently found that he used the keys of my 7 year old daughter to make a spare and when I'm not home, come and goes as he pleases. He is on probation for abuse and I recently received calls from his probation officer on my home phone. Additionally, he uses my address as his home residence. Being fed up, I contacted the Lansing police who indicated I need to file eviction proceedings to have hime removed. We are not married, never been married, and his name is not on my mortgage. He pays no rent and offers no financial support for our children. What options do I have to get him out of my house?

This post has been moved from the Introductions section, where we introduce ourselves, to the Family Law forum where your question is more appropriate.

You basically should just call the police and have him thrown out as a tresspasser, next you change the locks and not let him back in ever.
