Yes... when sperm are present just a couple of days before ovulation, odds increase that pregnancy will result... (while some may live about 5 days or so before ovulation, most will only live around 2-3 days). However, even with very good timing, there is still only roughly a 25% chance that you will become pregnant in any given cycle.
