I just replace an old sink faucet and it was working when I installed the new one . And now the water just stopped flowing. Just a small drip. Both Cold and Hot. Could it be water pressure? Air in the plumbing?

Clean the aerator. I assume you opened angle stops...

Hello Milo, I will try to clean the aerator and see what happens. Thanks for the quick response. Nice to know I can get an answer so quick. What are angle stops? THanks!

"angle stop" A valve with a 90 deg angle between inlet and outlet. i.e. the supply valves

As KISS said: angle stops are the hot and cold water valves below the sink. Water supply lines connect angle stops and faucet.

Oh, Yes, I did open the valves. The water was running when all of a sudden, the water just stopped coming out. Thanks again!

Make it a habit to clean it periodically. It will happen again...

Mary,
Out of curiosity what did the stuff look like that clogged the screens of your aerator? Small white particles. If so can you break it up by squeezing it or was it hard? Black flaky stuff? Let me know. Tom,

No, it was black, stuff from the old gaskits.

Is some still in your lines? Have you pulled the aerator and checked the screens again? Just vwondering if you got it all out of your lines. Regards, Tom
