Back in 2000 I was 19 and was caught with LSD in the Air Force. I was still in tech school and was sent to county jail for 3 months. I got a bad conduct discharge. Now I have my BA and have a good job. I noticed that this conviction (which is my only one) never has shown up when any job runs a background check. Why is this? Will it ever if say I wish to work in a casino or be a teacher?

The charge won't show up in a background check now that you are a civvie. It is only on your military record.

I guess I need to also know is that even if I were to try to become a teacher. This would not ever come up to get my certificate?
