I violated my probation by a dirty ua and not completing a program but I was doing real good before this for the last year I have 2 jobs I am in collage I pay at least some fees every mouth I am back in a program now out paition

i violated my probation by a dirty ua and not completing a program but i was doing real good before this for the last year i have 2 jobs i am in collage i pay at least some fees every mouth i am back in a program now outpatient but they public defender said the da offerd me 16 mo prison is that right ? is there any thing i can do besides go back to jail ?

If the DA has offered you 16 months in prison for violating probation I would guess the DA can do that. What does your Public Defender say?

He/she knows more about the law in your area and the judicial climate in your area than anyone on the Board knows.
