I am shopping for an under counter drinking water filtration system. I am wondering if the systems have to be connected to the faucets that they come with, or if you can connect them to a different faucet. I want to get the Kohler K6665 faucet cold only beverage faucet, but connect it to a different filtration system than the one it is sold with. Is this possible?

Do both faucets have built in air gaps? If so, then you should be able to make the connections one way or another.
Or just say HEY CULLIGAN MAN. LOL

Mcclyde:
If the flexible hose/connector that comes with your filter system doesn't match up exactly with the K6665 faucet then I am sure that there will be adapters that can be easily purchased to adapt over to the filter system.
I'm betting that both undercounter systems will have 1/4" compression tubing and will be compatible... but as stated, if not, then should be easy to adapt between each one.. ;)
Good day!

Not always are water dispensers interchangeable. But since you will be using cold water only you should not have any problem.
In our area, the most popular system is Everpure in combination with H300 filter cartridge. It is made by Water Inc.. It will run you around $275.00. Replacement cartridges sell for around $100.00 and have to be replaced about once a year in average household.

So you'd be throuwing awaythe rest of the Kohler system just to get the faucet or what. WEhy not just go Kohler all the way?
