I am based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, Male, 30 years old, holding Somalian Passport by birth, Born in Dubai, UAE, Single and Independent working for UK based MNC Bank at managerial level. I have applied various times for visit visas to UK but it has been declined stating that my Somalian Passport is not accepted for travelling to UK. I even submitted an appeal application but received no response which I assume must have been rejected again. I have my whole family residing in UK. My father is in UK for the last 10 Years holding UK Citizenship. I have 6 Sisters of all ages in UK for the past 8 to 10 years and all are UK Citizens. I want to visit my family in UK but I am being refused visa all the time. I need to understand how do I visit my family. My passport is a legal document authorized to travel anywhere except in UK. It also has a resident visa of Dubai, UAE. I can support my travel and accommodation in UK as I am Independent. I need help to understand what kind of VISA can I apply for so that I can become elegible to travel to UK. I need to visit and meet my family. My family are UK Citizens and I am sure they have rights to help me come to UK to visit them through some or the other way. They need to see me. They need me to be around them at times of pain and happiness. I need help. Your feedback would be highly appreciated. I am really tired and frusturated by getting my visa rejected all the time.

Thanks

If you are eligible to obtain immigrant visa, you will not be approved for visitor's visa or other types of non-immigrant visas. You have 2 choices between applying for immigrant visa or have your family come to visit you.

Sorry.. but this applies to every countries, not just UK.

Having family members who are already naturalized in UK, makes you eligible. Family members in this case mean parents, children and siblings only. Your parents should be able to give you advise in the procedures.

My Parents and Siblings are actually not supportive that's why I have to hunt for solutions myself. I know there is a way I can be sponsored via family members but need the right guidance.

Do you know who I should contact in UK via e-mail or post who would be able to guide me up to the right track.

I have put up an e-mail to UKVISAS.GOV.UK but have received no response from their end. If you any effective website or contact who can help it would be highly appreciated.

Thanks.

You can't do it without your family's support. The only possibility is having one of your parents file a petition for immigrant visa for you.
