HI,

I was hoping I could get some advice on what I should do. I usually run a 30 day cycle. My LMP was August 7th. I have had unprotected sex with my partner often since then. I have been taking Cymbalta- anti-anxiety/depressant for over 6 months. On August 29th I flew to a different state until September 3rd. I forgot to grab my Cymbalta before I left, so I was without it for roughly 5 days. Immediately I began to withdrawal and was sick to my stomach and very dizzy. When I got back home I went back on it and the withdrawal symptoms went away. I MISSED MY PERIOD THOUGH. I never miss a period. I was suppose to start it on September 6th. I got all the normal PMS symptoms, breast tenderness, abd cramping and bloating which went away BUT NO PERIOD. Currently I can't eat anything because I either diarrhea it out or am constipated. My stomach hurts really bad, even to touch. Sleeping is diffacult, I feel I have a sore stomach. I keep on pooping and it won't stop. I have been reallly really tired too. SO the dilemma is all the HPT tests are hegative. I have no health insurance and I'm not sure if all of this is because I missed my meds? SHould I get a blood test? Any comments or advice are greatly appreciated because I feel like total crap.

Please don't post your question twice, it's confusing and against the rules. Just be patient, someone will come along soon to answer your question, sometimes it takes a day or two. We all do this in our spare time, we do have our lives, jobs, kids etc. so we can't always answer questions as soon as they come up.

Thank you. :)

Actually, Altenweg, I am new to this website. If I broke a rule, it was by mistake and confusion. I am very patient, nothing for you to worry about. I am aware other people have lives, you don't need to make that more obvious than it already is. Not sure why you responded, your advice was not necessary to my post, which should be against the rules of posting. Thank you.

I responded on your first post, and then reported this one because you posted twice. They obviously deleted the one that I posted on.

I realize that you are new, that is why I came on to inform you about the rules, as you obviously didn't read the rules and regulations before you used the site. If you had read the rules then I wouldn't have had to inform you, so no, my informing you isn't against the rules of posting. I wasn't being mean or sarcastice, just informative and I resent your rudeness.

What I said on your other post was that I would get a blood test if I were you, or wait another week or two and then retest using an hpt with first morning urine.

I have no idea what could be wrong, no one can diagnose you over the internet. It is possible that missing your pills delayed your period as well, but that's just a guess.

Good luck.
