I went to the doctor today and had my first ultra sound (yeh! ) and found out I'm having a baby boy. They also told me he's a little above average- 9 ounces so far (I guess 5 ounces is 'normal'). The thing that's bothering me is that I haven't gained a single pound over my prepregnancy weight. None. I've accually lost a few pounds and gained them back but stay at 117lbs (im 5'2'') ussually. I'm a very healthy eater- I don't eat out except subway occasionally and don't consum a lot of fat (oil, butter, gravy, sauces, ect). Is this OK? The doctors and nurses haven't said anything but I'm a bit concerned.

It's perfectly fine... most women gain more than they really "need" to, for a variety of reasons. If you dealt with any morning sickness, that can cause some early weight loss or slower weight gain. You may just be the sort that either doesn't gain a great deal at all, or that will start to put some on more towards the end. Odds are you will start to see the weight come on more in the next several weeks, but as long as baby is looking good, you are eating a well balanced diet, and feeling well, all is fine.
