I am a 22 felon and I am trying to find a company that will hire me fresh out of school.

You need to talk to the trucking school and ask them about what companies are hiring felons right now. They should know. Most larger trucking companies have trucking company recruiters come to the school for new drivers. Most trucking companies like to hire felons but there should be at least a 3+ year between you and the original conviction. Also, you being only 22 is another setback for you as most trucking companies have insurance companies that mandate a driver be at least 23 or 24 years old.

I agree wholeheartedly with the above answer! I would just like to add the following.
There probably is one out there that would be willing to employ you, but you just have to keep trying. Part of the reason that you might be having trouble getting a job may be because of the type of conviction that you had. I know of a person who was convicted of a felony and has been employed by a number of trucking firms. It wasn't easy for him to land a job and he kept trying though until he found one that would hire him.
Would you mind sharing what your conviction was for, please? Knowing that might help folks here to help you the best.
Thanks!
