Hi : my boyfriend has served before a total of 8 years in state & federal prisons when he served his time. He was deported to mexico but he came back to the u.s. & gets busted again. He served 1½ month in county jail in Los Angeles & immigration picks him up. He is still there as we speak he told me he sign a deportation letter but they did not approved it . What do you think its going to happen to him ? Is he going to do time again in the pint. If he is how long ? Thank you bye.

I don't have enough details about crimes he committed but from my experience, 8 years in jail means waiver will never be approved ever, plus additional charges, etc. In plain words, he will never become legal in US and I strongly recommend that you terminate this relationship... fast.
