12 years ago I asked for and got a loan from my moms life insurance policy. I cashed and signed the check in her name.(with mine underneath) She found out about a year later. Can I still get charge with this now? She just now told the insuance company.

Why didn't you tell her and/or pay back the "loan". You could possibly be charged with fraud or theft.

I think the Statute of limitations on this ahas probably passed.

It's MY view, that the statute just started running. I believe it starts from the time the crime is DISCOVERED, and that just happened.
