View Full Version : Has Obama been suckered into campaigning against Palin.

... Instead of against John McCain ? Yesterday he all but challenged her to a basketball shooting game. But he has also responded to things that Palin has been saying on the campaign trail ;and even defending himself as to the comparison about their experience . Strange if you ask me. I can't imagine Bill Clintoon ever falling into the trap of getting into a pi$$ing contest with Dan Quayle or Jack Kemp in the 90s; while his real opponents sat on the sidelines above the fray.
I think that instead of shooting hoops , Sarah Palin should challenge Joe Biden to a series of town hall debates... Joe who ?

David Axelrod tried to nip that in the bud by saying explicitly "we're not running against Governor Palin." But of course their actions speak differently... as usual. I'd love to see Palin debate Biden several times, heck, I'd love to see her take on Obama at hoops. It would be a win-win for her, either she beats him or makes a game of it or Obama risks looking like he's picking on her... kind of like Kramer taking on his karate class.

If they were playing a game of " H.O.R.S.E. " I'd give her an even shot .

Hello tom:
She AIN'T no Dan Quayle - or maybe you know something we don't. I'm sure we'll find out when she talks to the press... Or, maybe not. The campaign won't let the press ask questions. I think they're hiding her cause she can't spell potato either.

Yeah, but she'll be intervied by Chawie Gibson. I wonder if he'll discuss her “extraordinary speech (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/brent-baker/2008/03/27/smith-gibson-fret-obama-protracted-race-will-hurt-november)” or ask her about her "feelings (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/brent-baker/2008/06/04/anchors-rejoice-obama-making-history-son-gun-ive-done)" on her historic nomination?
