Sorry but I have 3 quick questions:
• The only copies I have are e-mail attachments. Do I print these out and then have them notarized as I, myself sign them? My grandfather died in 1954, so he can't notarize them.

• Or, do I need to send for a paper copy that is certified in some way, like the birth certificates were certified with all those various stamps on them? If so, I definitely need to know exactly where to get these certified naturalization papers.

• In fact my husband was naturalized in 1974 and I can't even find a computer copy of those naturalization papers which he lost years ago. I was told there is a $380. Charge to have them replaced, but I can't ind where to do this (both naturalizations took place in Buffalo, N.Y. but I can't find a physical address to go to anywhere - just 800 numbers and recorded voices).

If you do not have original copy of Certificate of Naturalization of your husband, he must apply for a new copy by filing I565 to USCIS with $380 fee. When you want to get documents notarized, bring both originals and copies to notary public. You will be ask to provide photo ID. You cannot notarized the documents unless you are a certified notary public with license to practice in your state.

The confusing thing, sorry, is that for the application for dual citizenship, I am going through my grandfather, along with all my other family members (I am doing the applying for them too).

So, I will need my grandfather's Naturalization papers. I do have a "copy" of four pages of Naturalization documentation from an e-mail that my cousin sent me. Is that enough?. or do I need some "Certified" copy -- every website says a "copy" but they don't say if it needs an "apostille" or other certification or stamps on it. Can you help?
