Hi, sassieonxy!
Greetings and WELCOME to the site! I just moved your question that you had posted in Introductions to this topic area so that it would get the most exposure to those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is for people to introduce themselves and we try to not ask questions there. Also, this site isn't a chat room and as such, doesn't function the same way that a chat room does. So, whatever question a person posts really needs to be in the appropriate topic area for it to get noticed the best.
We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us a little about yourself though, if you would be willing to do that.
Thanks!

Most affordable way to have a baby, is to have a midwife and a homebirth. This allows you the benefits of prenatal care and someone qualified to be attending your birth, but you save on hospital costs and lessen the likelihood of interventions being used. If a transfer became necessary, and interventions were required, than obviously costs would increase.
If you don't have insurance, there are a number of plans designed specifically for pregnancy alone. Medicaid for example offers a pregnancy plan.
There are other even more affordable ways, such as unassisted births, but few people are comfortable with them.
