My Precious is pregnant for the 2nd time. She looks like she will explode if she goes another day. She has been contracting off and on now for about 11 days(up to 6 an hr.) She sleeps through them and almost every hour of the day too. She pees and poos reguraly. She eats, although she cat only eat for about 30-45 seconds at a time, but does so several times a day. She drinks plenty and seems quite content. She's a little more loving than she always is but also can get very feisty at the drop of a hat(the last 3 days). It seems like the babies have figured out what is about to happen because they are moving SO much that I think they are fighting to see who gets to come out first! I know everyone say to check her temp but I REALLY don't want to subject her to that. I guess the question is... Can pregnant cats have Braxton Hicks contractions for days as humans do? The reason I ask is that I didn't seen one single contraction the 1st time she was pregnant until she was actually in labor.

Maybe you should take her to the vet.
A cat I had a few years ago was on her second pregnancy and she looked like she was going to explode. She left the house and didn't come back for days. She came back right when she was ready to have them. She made it to the driveway and DID literally explode and ended up dying.
