I have complained for two (2) weeks about neighbors playing loud music in their apartment keeping me up past 2 am to my apartment manager; but every time I complained she told me there was nothing she could do about it. One of my neighbors complained that I was stomping on the floor at 11:05 pm and I supposedly got an "Excessive Noise Complaint." I was told before I moved into the apartment by my aunt, who had a friend of hers live in the exact one I'm in now, that they would call the police just for normal noise when your walking to the bathroom. The lady who moved out of there left because they called the police twice on her for "stomping on the floor", supposedly the apartment has a quiet time beginning at 11 pm. What should I do about this discrimination against me, or is it where she refuses to acknowledge 14 written complaints I made regarding loud music affecting my work, but acknowledges one by a beach that's on SSI?

Thank you in advance,

Need help before I'm on the streets!

If your neighbor is doing loud music at 2 am, call the police.

Hello uncle:

The Padre is right. Screw the manager! Call the cops.

Friday, April 28th. 2006; I did call the police about this noise, and they gave the same crap the manager did, they cannot do anything about it. They told me to complain to the on-site manager. I seriously believe I'm just getting the runaround with both city police and manager telling me they can't do anything, go to the other party. But anyway, thanks for the help. I have put in for another apartment in the city and tomorrow, on my way to talk with this manager, I plan on talking to an attorney to see what options I have.
