I read a few other posts about people having lumps on their head, and saw in a lot of cases they would go to the doctor, find out it was a cyst (or something "not too bad"), and could have it removed, or what-not.

Just wondering... the lump I found on my head has been there for about a month, but it comes and goes. Sometimes, it itches, and when I scratch it it gets bigger. Keep in mind I'm not talking about a bite or pimple or something... it is an actual lump under my skin that goes from non-existant, to the size of a pea, to the size of a dime or nickel. I just noticed today that there was another small one on the top of my head, and it sort of started to itch for a minute as well.

A friend of mine told me she had something similar and it was just tissue build up, which was also affected by stress. I know I need to go to the doctor and ask, but I thought I'd see if anyone had anything to say about it as well.

Much appreciated!

No answers huh? I haven't been able to go to the doctor yet. I've got another one or two that have formed too. It's probably no big deal. I did think I would get at least one response by now though! :o

I did go, but it was a long time ago, so let's see if I remember...

I want to say they gave me some sort of a mild steroid pill to take for a few days that decreased swelling. But I did notice at one point when they came back, they went away on their own after I changed jobs. So I wondered if it was stress, or else maybe something there I was allergic to? Either way, it ended up being an easy fix, not a big deal. I haven't experienced them since. Sorry I can't be more helpful, my memory is awful sometimes.

Good luck!
