My husband and I have just been stationed in Germany for 2 yrs. And I have a daughter from a previous relationship that we want to bring with us. Her father has agreed to let her come with us if we agree to let her live with him for 2 yrs. When we come back to the states. I think he is trying to take advantage of me because I am 7 months pregnant and need to go back to Germany before I am too big to fly. I really don't want to sign an agreement that says that but Im unsure of what to and time is running out!

You have two choices - you can sign the agreement and trade 2 years for 2 years OR not sign and not leave the country with your daughter.
What does your custody agreement say? Is there a custody agreement?
I don't know that the father is taking advantage - the Court very well might allow you to go and take her with you but you would have the financial responsibility of flying her back and forth to see her father. Two years is along time for a little kid.
You could always go to Court to get this resolved but that would, of course, take time.
Only you know what is best.

The question is what is the current custody/visitation agreement? Assuming the father has been part of her life and will be giving up his visitation for that time, it sounds like a reasonable request on his part.
How old is the child?

Yes if it was my child and the mother wanted to take the child to Germany for two years, I doubt I would be that nice, I would want at least one trip a year paid to see my child on top of 2 years when the child gets back.
So of course you don't have to sign it, it is your choice to stay and fight it out in court. Or perhaps stay in the US while your husband is overseas
