Can my grandchildrens mother come back after a year of abandoning her children and take them away from me when I got custody from the courts? She is taking me to court & wants them back. She has no home or any source of income could she get them back?

If you have only temporary custody and she can take care of them she can, but it doesn't sound like it. You have a court order. Does it say temporary custody? Does it give terms about her getting them back?

I would tell her see you in court. Then she would have to go through the court and prove she is financially stable and able to care for them --roof over their head, etc...

It is possible she might come and just take them so maybe you should talk to family court and ask them what is the best thing to do in your situation so she doesn't just come and take them.

If you have custody, no, she can't. The only way she can get custody is through another hearing (or trial).

Most Courts won't revisit an issue for at least two years.

Ok what level of custody do you have, temp, full,
And what and how was custody taken away from her.

But can she, if she is not working and not abel to properly take care of herself, it is not likely, if she "changed" got her life in order, there is always a chance she could be able to, although not likely it can happen
